James Taylor Writing Material For New Album

Next month, the winner of the 1998 Billboard Century Award will embark on their tour One Man Band , a departure from its traditional summer exits full band . " Larry Golding will play keyboards with me , at least initially , " he says. "Let's play nice small theaters , houses of around 3000 , we will in the first half of March , the first of April, the first half of May , and beyond that we'll see . "

Currently, Taylor has not been himself affiliated with a new record label . As previously reported , Taylor will be honored Feb. 6 for its considerable musical and philanthropic contributions as the 2006 MusiCares Person of the Year . Among the artists who greet you at the event in Los Angeles , produced by the Recording Academy , will be Bruce Springsteen, Jackson Browne , Dixie Chicks, Taj Mahal , Paul Simon , Alison Krauss and fellow winner Randy Newman Century Award .
As a result of honor , Taylor jokes that he can not complain that it has not reached maturity. "I can not complain about anything ," he says . "It was such an important part of my life , complaining , I do not know what I do with my free time . "
